Kristie wanted some updated portraits of their children so we hooked up at Camden in the Macarthur Region. Spring put on a glorious day for us.
We roamed the various areas of this park and I have to say we had quite a few laughs as I took some beautiful photos of the delightful Liv and Taj.
I also sneaked in a photo of Kristie with her children :-)
"Sandy recently took beautiful photos of my teenage children. She kept it fun for them which is not always easy to do with teenagers. Thank you so much, we're really happy"
Macarthur Park is at Camden in, yes, the Macarthur Region. Perfect place to meet up with Tracy, Mark & their lovely family for a leisurely shoot of 3 generations!
Just quietly I think my favourite was Granddad with his old fashioned charm, manners and stories of yesteryear,
The South Coast is an idyllic area, a photographers playground & the location for the beautiful Nicky & her handsome Joe to have their engagement shoot.
Nicky & Joe are a super chilled couple who are getting married later this year.
I could not ask for a more lovely bride & groom. I love the way that they look at each other & make each other laugh.
We went for a wander along the beach & around to the Bogey Hole chatting, laughing & taking photos as we went. I can't wait to shoot their wedding later this year. I think some serious fun will be on the wedding agenda! The engagement ring that Joe gave Nicky is simply stunning, check it out.
It was a windy & very hot day when I met up with Miss G & her parents at the Gardens. I always have an idea of where I want to take photos & how but a 2yr old often have their own plans :-) I love the photos of her intrepidly exploring while we followed. Photojournalism at it's best, the pictures tell a story!
A beautiful day presented itself on the sunny South Coast for an extended family shoot with The Cooper & The Milne families. I don't know who had the most fun the kids, the adults or me. Thanks guys we ended up with some great photos.
It was my absolute pleasure to be the photographer for the Courtney family Xmas shoot..
Kim & her children Megan, Lara, Andrew & Michael met me on Xmas Eve ready to have fun.
I think the images reflect that when adults relax during a shoot then the bond that the family have shines through and this family have an extremely strong bond & a great sense of humour!
Kaylah looked stunning when she arrived for her photo shoot at Mount Annan Botanical Gardens. The excitement & happiness shows in the photos, although I don't know who was more excited, Kaylah, Katherine (her Mum) or Val, (her Grandmother). We were lucky to have a small break in the rain to get these beautiful photos.
I arrived at the Australian Botanic Gardens in Mount Annan on a cloudy afternoon to meet Stanley & Akshita for their engagement shoot.
Akshita looked absolutely gorgeous in her white lace dress and Stanley looked quite trendy, a gentleman with an infectious laugh who insisted on carrying my gear for me.
You could see the love for each other when they made eye contact. This was a seriously fun shoot with lots of laughs. Even the shoes came off!
When you do a 'candid life' home family shoot with a new baby it just doesn't matter what the weather is like. Mel & Terry were tired but on cloud 9 and so in love with their super cute little Chace. What a chilled little man he is! Perfect.
On a gorgeous Spring day, I met Terry and Mel at Racecourse Beach in Ulladulla to celebrate a very special upcoming event: the soon-to-be arrival of their little bundle of joy. We got so lucky with the weather!
When 3 beautiful sisters & their Mum get together you just know it is going to be a fun shoot, especially when 1 of the sisters is pregnant with the first grandchild/niece or nephew. As it turned out it was a gorgeous little boy, Chace. I caught up with Mel and Terry, his mum and dad, here.
It was a wet and windy day and the wedding was to take place outside but just before Vanessa was due to walk towards her handsome future husband, Matt, it stopped! A perfect ceremony followed and the festivities continued on into the night.
I was fortunate to be assisting Thomas Stewart at this wedding and a big thank you to Vanessa and Matt also.
The South Coast put on a stunning day for Emma and Harley. They had chosen to get married in the beautiful park at Burrill Lake.
Harley was standing under the tree watching his bride walk towards him, so much emotion played across his face. Emma looked so beautiful and relaxed as she calmly made her way across the park towards her future husband, both surrounded by their children. What a joyous day it was.
A summer wedding for Tash & Troy & the temperature reached nearly 40.
Poor Tash had broken her foot a week before the wedding. The bride took it all in her stride & gracefully made her way to her future husband with a crutch under one arm and her father helping her on the other side.
Tash was absolutely radiant, a stunningly beautiful bride with a serene smile that never left her face. Troy looked like he was the happiest man alive as he gently lifted Tash's veil for their first marital kiss. Whiskey, the 4 legged family member, was front & center for the ceremony.
"My husband and I used Sandy for our wedding photos. The photos were absolutely gorgeous and beyond anything we could have imagined. Her passion to give us the best memories was amazing! The whole experience was easy, smooth and enjoyable." Tash & Troy.
Since the arrival of our youngest granddaughter I've had the privilege of being able to document her journey by capturing some precious moments for the family.
Here are a few photos I've taken of her with her parents.
