What a fun shoot this was. Many laughs with a beautiful couple :-)
Family maternity shoot in the forest for Mel, Terry & an excited young Chace. It rained the days pre & post shoot PLUS Mel had the baby early, so very lucky to get this shoot done. We had fun clambering about trees, logs & threw in the dam for good measure. Thanks as always for having me guys :-)
What a fun shoot this was with Jamie & Nigel. Clambering over rocks & dodging an incoming tide, we did get just a bit wet :-)
Mollymook Beach put on a fabulous display for Jamie & Nigel's photo shoot! I was amazed at how quickly & frequently the light changed in the space of an hour, from the golden hour through to the blue hour. Clouds rolling in & out looking dramatic, definitely helped.
Early morning family shoot with Brad, Taria & their delightful children. I love watching children interacting with each other & their parents. The bonds that are being built show in their photos. Lots of laughs, hugs & smiles. A lovely morning.
A family shoot with 3 generations which included Grandchildren of all ages, what a wonderful Xmas present for the Matriarch of the family . I love how kids have their own personalities which show in their photos. I never fail to have a chuckle when shooting kids, you never know what they are going to say or do. It was 40 in the shade & everybody still smiled & enjoyed the shoot! Thanks for the laughs guys, it was a pleasure to do your photos.
It was cold & windy when I met up with Kira, Mark, Theo & Arlo for their family shoot but that didn't slow us down at all. What a lovely family! The boys were amazing to work with, little professionals with a lot of patience. They were champions coping with 2 hours of photography & being thrown in the air by their Dad :-) Yes I had fingers & toes crossed that he would catch them lol. What I love about family shoots is how each families individuality shines through. Impossible to take the exact same images with every family due to that individuality. Thanks for a fun few hours guys.
A new baby is a gift to love & treasure & in this case completes a family. A new baby son & a little brother.
I met up with Lee, Rob, Bec & family at Bulli Boat sheds, near Sandon Point Beach, fantastic location with interesting history. We had beautiful weather plus the tide was out! A great afternoon & to make the day perfect we finished with pizza & wine :-)
I had the pleasure of doing a candid home baby shoot for Ashleigh & Luke. Their daughter is adorable & she was an absolute angel the whole time. The rest of the 'family' joined in at half time :-)
I met up with Bec, Stuart & their 'oh so cute' children at Camden for a candid family shoot. I love how these images show the beautiful connection between Bec, Stuart and their children.
The weather was perfect and as we wandered through the park the old tree with low branches proved to be irresistible for a quick climbing session.
Kristie wanted some updated portraits of their children so we hooked up at Camden in the Macarthur Region. Spring put on a glorious day for us.
We roamed the various areas of this park and I have to say we had quite a few laughs as I took some beautiful photos of the delightful Liv and Taj.
I also sneaked in a photo of Kristie with her children :-)
"Sandy recently took beautiful photos of my teenage children. She kept it fun for them which is not always easy to do with teenagers. Thank you so much, we're really happy"
Macarthur Park is at Camden in, yes, the Macarthur Region. Perfect place to meet up with Tracy, Mark & their lovely family for a leisurely shoot of 3 generations!
Just quietly I think my favourite was Granddad with his old fashioned charm, manners and stories of yesteryear,
It was a windy & very hot day when I met up with Miss G & her parents at the Gardens. I always have an idea of where I want to take photos & how but a 2yr old often have their own plans :-) I love the photos of her intrepidly exploring while we followed. Photojournalism at it's best, the pictures tell a story!
A beautiful day presented itself on the sunny South Coast for an extended family shoot with The Cooper & The Milne families. I don't know who had the most fun the kids, the adults or me. Thanks guys we ended up with some great photos.
It was my absolute pleasure to be the photographer for the Courtney family Xmas shoot..
Kim & her children Megan, Lara, Andrew & Michael met me on Xmas Eve ready to have fun.
I think the images reflect that when adults relax during a shoot then the bond that the family have shines through and this family have an extremely strong bond & a great sense of humour!
